Which Hilton will you be at? The one near Universal Studios?
Hi guys, I think I could use a little help.
Basically I need some orientation because I'll be playing in LA in a couple of weeks and I'll have just a few free hours, and I want to locate a few stores to see if I can make some shopping there .
I'll be staying at Hilton Hotel and I want to know where is the nearest:
1) music store ( Guit Center, or similar ).
2) A good record store ( if it has used cd's would be better).
3) An Apple store or a place that sell Apple products.
Any recommendation would be apreciated.
Also, if anyone know about an interesting concert or jam in that area on Dec 18th after 11:00 pm, please, let me know.
Thank you!

Dude
You are walking distance from the Baked Potato. Also check out LaVeLee and Cafe Cordiale...maybe Charlie O's as well. All very close by. Hollyweird is about 5 miles away...lots of slime clubs there...lol

It's a quite interesting gig for a player point of view, because you have to be ready to play ANYTHING at ANY moment.
Maybe not as interesting to watch for a drummers perspective because it's basically a groove gig with very few "flashy" moments.
Anyway, if anybody has another suggestion, it would be more than welcome,
Thank you!

Hey pedro!!
How long will you be staying in L.A.?? Sorry I didn't catch this post earlier.
If you need a rent-a-car, I can get you one for $20 a day. If you need any help with info, give a jingle at the shop. (818) 772-1737.
Peace bro.
